Finally, someone with the intestinal fortitude to take on the Sanctuary Movement and point out the hypocrisy of their position (Church leaders should be humanitarians, not politicians). Your editorial was both timely and right on the money. If those involved in aiding and abetting the violation of our immigration laws want the right to rant from the pulpit in support of their actions, they can easily do so legally. All they have to do is join the rest of us and start paying taxes. Alternatively, if they wish to continue enjoying their special nonprofit tax status, which means those of us who pay taxes must pay more to make up for the taxes they do not pay, they should just shut up. Like almost everyone on this planet, I would like to have my cake and eat it too. The world does not work that way.
