A word of thanks to Good Samaritans

Editor, the Advocate:I am an elderly woman who stepped off a curb in front of H-E-B at about 6 p.m. Monday afternoon and fell flat on my face. Although I wasn’t critically injured, the facial abrasions caused quite a bit of bleeding.
Several male customers entering and leaving the store came to my rescue with stacks of tissues, bottled water, cloths soaked in cold water and even a band aid for the cut across the bridge of my nose.
To those Good Samaritans who helped so much, I offer my sincerest thanks. Your kindness was most appreciated.
