Be responsible; avoid unwanted litters
advertising
Editor, the Advocate:

This is to the people who leave their unwanted animals in the parks, off the highways, in the country, etc. If you don’t want litters, spay or neuter. Or, for that matter, don’t even have pets. This past Thursday I found two baby kittens by the boat ramp at Riverside Park. Poor things were barely alive. Whatever kind of heartless, uncaring person this was ought to have their head examined! There are places like Adopt-a-Pet, Dorothy O’Connor, or the Victoria Animal Shelter who would take these pets and try to adopt them out. Again, if you don’t want the responsibility of taking care of your pets’ litters, get them spayed or neutered. Don’t let someone else take care of your sick, demented, irresponsible actions. So who ever the person was who left these kittens behind, you obviously don’t have a conscience.
