Informed decisions needed on uranium issue

Editor, the Advocate:Reference: “Your Views,” Aug. 14 and the letter from Gentry Powell of Kenedy “No taxpayer dollars should go to lawsuit”:
Mr. Powell’s letter, in my opinion, was very well written and generally represents my viewpoint on uranium mining in Goliad County and the use (none) of taxpayer’s money to fund lawsuits against the uranium mining company. Quoting Mr. Powell’s letter “Let’s remove emotion from this issue and make informed decisions based on the facts.”
My family owns land in Goliad County, and the property does not now have a uranium production lease on it. Thank you.
