Editor, the Advocate:I would like to express my sincerest thanks and appreciation to all who responded to assist in the rescue of the young man trapped at the top of the tanks at our grain facility in El Toro.
To look down and see not only firemen, EMS, and law enforcement, but also City of Edna employees, Jackson Electric employees and equipment, rescue personnel from Victoria and many more willing faces was overwhelming. Your unconditional willingness to help, in any way possible, is a very admirable human trait.
We are all blessed to live in a community with this outpouring of concern for their fellow man. God was with us that day and may He continue to bless us all!
