Council works on its own agenda
advertising
Editor, the Advocate:

Why is it that the major streets in the town of Victoria are in need of repair, the infrastructure needs repair and the traffic signals need upgrading? We have a city council that chooses to spend the taxpayers’ money on unrelated business. For example, it sets aside money for the defense of four high profile individuals, and also sets money aside for a hike and bike trail. These are just two things that come to mind, but, as I am saying, the city council has its own agenda and not one for the people.
