VISD retirees should have been mentioned

Editor, the Advocate:What a disappointment your paper has been. On May 1, 63 employees (mostly teachers) retired from the VISD school system. All together, their teaching and service added up to many, many years. And your newspaper never mentioned them; nor did it even have a picture of them. You just cast them aside like an old pair of shoes. Shame on you.
