Conner, a geriatrics specialist, was also recognized Monday, July 28 with a proclamation from the Lavaca County Commissioners Court citing her “30 years of loyal and continuing service to her patients, to the Hallettsville area and to Lavaca County.”
The proclamation added that Conner has been active in “organizations related to the medical profession that are devoted to the improvement of healthcare, especially rural healthcare issues.”
During her tenure in Lavaca County, Connor has served in officer positions, including president, of the DeWitt-Lavaca County Medical Society and as a chapter delegate to the Texas Medical Association. She currently serves as a delegate to the Texas Medical Directors Association, a group of medical professionals affiliated with nursing homes. Conner is currently medical director at Stevens Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Tuesday’s come and go reception is hosted by Stevens and Advanced Health Services. The fellowship hall is at 206 S. Dowling St. in Hallettsville.
