Lavaca County burn ban lifted

HALLETTSVILLE – The ban on outdoor burning has been lifted in Lavaca County.Due to recent rains, the Lavaca County Commissioners Court lifted the ban during regular session Monday, said county Judge Ronnie Leck.
“As always residents are urged to use caution when burning outdoors,” Leck said.
The ban had been in effect since June 20.
