COLORADO RIVER: (At Colorado Bend State Park) Water stained. Black bass are slow. Striped bass are slow. White bass are slow. Crappie are slow. Catfish are fair on perch.
FAYETTE: Water clear; 91 degrees. Black bass are slow. Channel and blue catfish are very good on cut shad, liver, and shrimp over baited holes under trees.
LBJ: Water stained; 86 degrees; 0.42 feet low. Black bass are good on watermelon Curb’s Erratic jigs, watermelon red Whacky Sticks, and pumpkin 4-inch tubes near docks and lay downs along seawalls and in 10 feet at daylight. Striped bass are good on Creme Lure’s 2-inch Spoiler Shads and 1” Li’l Fishies at night. White bass are fair to good on Li’l Fishies at night. Crappie are fair to good on Curb’s crappie jigs and live minnows over brush piles in clear water.
SOMERVILLE: Water murky; 86 degrees; 1.70 feet low. Black bass are good but small on crappie jigs. Hybrid striper are slow. White bass are slow. Crappie are slow. Perch are excellent on worms. Channel and blue catfish are excellent on cut shad. Yellow catfish are slow.
TRAVIS: Water clear; 86 degrees; 16.62 feet low. Black bass are fair on bone chuggers and watermelon worms in 15-28 feet. Striped bass are slow. White bass are good on smoke grubs and jigging spoons in 28-40 feet. Crappie are slow.
CHOKE CANYON: Water lightly stained; 89 degrees; 3.20 feet low. Black bass are fair on minnows and white spinnerbaits. White bass are slow. Crappie are slow. Channel and blue catfish are very good on frozen shrimp and punchbait. Yellow catfish are fair on live perch.
COLETO CREEK: Water clear; 88 degrees (97 degrees at discharge); 2.55 feet low. Black bass are fair on minnows. Striped bass are slow. White bass are fair on minnows. Crappie are slow. Channel and blue catfish are good on shrimp, liver, and live perch. Yellow catfish are fair on trotlines and juglines baited with live perch in 10-20 feet.
FALCON: Water stained; 83 degrees. Black bass are good on small crankbaits and spinnerbaits in 5-7 feet. Striped bass are slow. Channel and blue catfish are excellent on frozen shrimp.
