DeWitt County offering pesticide license training
advertising
CUERO – The DeWitt County Extension Service is sponsoring private applicator’s license training from 8 a.m to noon, Wednesday, Oct. 8, at the Friar Ag Center in the Cuero City Park.

After a lunch break, at 1 p.m. a representative from the Texas Department of Agriculture will administer the applicator’s test.

This five-year license enables purchase of and use or supervision of the application of restricted use pesticides. During that five-year period, licensees will be required to get 15 hours of continuing education units.

A training manual for the course is available from the county extension office. Call 361-275-0816 for more information.
