CUERO – Gravel spilled over both lanes of U.S. Highway 87 North Tuesday morning slowing traffic for about two hours. A gravel hauler lost its load about 10:30 a.m. Traffic on the highway about four miles north of Cuero was “at a crawl” until cleared about 12:30 p.m. by Texas Department of Transportation workers, said Department of Public Safety Trooper David Miller.
