Victoria Crime Stoppers is seeking information about the person responsible for two burglaries in Victoria in July.

Police department investigation shows that during the night of July 19 and the early morning hours of July 28 a store in the 5800 block of N. John Stockbauer Drive was broken into.

In both cases the offender carried a large cross-shaped lug wrench. It appears that the same person committed both crimes as a comparison of the videos shows that the offender in each case is the same size and build, was wearing similar clothes and made virtually the same movements. The only description of the offender at this time is that it appeared to be a man with a hood over his head, wearing long pants and boots. As the As the result of both burglaries, more than 40 cartons of mostly Marlboro brand cigarettes were stolen and significant damage was done to the store.
