VICTORIA – Robert Anthony Gonzales, 34, of Victoria by officers Wednesday on a warrant charging him with engaging in organized criminal activity, violation of parole and on suspicion of failure to identity or giving false information.

VICTORIA – A 27-year-old Victoria man by officers Wednesday on suspicion of assault causing bodily injury and family violence. The man is accused of hitting his live-in girlfriend and trying to choke her.

VICTORIA – A 31-year-old Victoria man by officers Tuesday on suspicion of possession of less than 2 ounces of marijuana, prohibited weapons in a weapons-free zone, possession of fireworks, failure to display a driver’s license, possession of drug paraphernalia and driving with an invalid license.

VICTORIA – A 51-year-old Victoria man by officers Tuesday on suspicion of unlawfully carrying a weapon, possession of drug paraphernalia and intoxication. The man is accused of walking through the 1100 block of Nueces Street with a machete while he was intoxicated.

VICTORIA – A 16-year-old Victoria girl at a home on Brindle Lane on Tuesday, according to a deputy’s report. Two other girls are accused of hitting her on the head.

BLOOMINGTON – A 50-year-old Bloomington man in the road at the intersections of Third and Market streets on Tuesday, according to a deputy’s report. A male acquaintance is accused of attacking him.

VICTORIA – A home in the 5200 block of John Stockbauer Drive on July 17, according to a police report taken Tuesday. A refrigerator valued at $300 and a stove valued at $200 were reported stolen.

VICTORIA – O’Connor Elementary School in the 3400 block of Boblink Lane on July 25, according to a police report. Oatmeal valued at $2 was reported stolen and $600 worth of damage was done to the windows.

PORT LAVACA – A Calhoun County grand jury has returned 15 indictments against 13 people.

Clarence Franklin Anderson, 48, of Victoria, on a charge of driving while intoxicated, third offense, on May 25.

Malcom Frank Armola, 20, of Port Lavaca, on a charge of delivery of a controlled substance, 4 grams or more but less than 200 grams on June 6.

Gregory L. Barnes, 47, of Danevang, on a charge of felony theft on Oct. 30.

Rene Camacho De La Rosa, 26, of Port Lavaca, on a charge of driving while intoxicated, third offense, on June 15.

Robert Bobby Flores, 47, of Port Lavaca, on a charge of delivery of a controlled substance on May 6.

James Edward Hoffman, 30, of Port Lavaca, on a charge of evading arrest or detention using a vehicle on April 25.

Monte Wayne Hoffman, 38, of Victoria, on a charge of driving while intoxicated, third offense, on April 11.

Andrew Harris Lacy, 45, of Port O’Connor, on two charges of possession of a controlled substance, 4 grams or more and possession of a controlled substance on Feb. 13.

Kevin Scott Malley, 30, of Port O’Connor, on charges of burglary of habitation on March 5 and burglary of a building on March 6.

Joseph Michael Reyes, 33, of Victoria, on a charge of delivery of a controlled substance on Oct. 30.

Mark Adrain Robinson, 46, of Bay City, on a charge of felony theft on Oct. 30.

Michael Anthony Ruiz, 20, of Port Lavaca, on a charge of evading arrest or detention using a vehicle on April 26.

Daniel Franklin Thompson, 18, of Seadrift, on a charge of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle on May 30.
