VICTORIA – An 18-year-old Victoria man was arrested Friday on the 2600 block of John Stockbauer Drive by officers on suspicion of not wearing a motorcycle helmet, operating a motor vehicle without insurance, no motorcycle operators license and possession of brass knuckles – a prohibited weapon.

VICTORIA – Craig Courtney, a 47-year-old San Antonio man, by officers on Friday on a warrant charging him with theft in the amount of more than $1,500, less than $20,000 while at the Victoria Adult Probation Department.

VICTORIA – A 48-year-old Victoria man by officers on Friday on the 500 block of South Depot Street on suspicion of assault causing bodily injury. Police said he allegedly assaulted his wife by pushing her off the porch into the yard and then choked her. According to police, the man told officers he beat her because “she smokes crack.”

VICTORIA – A 24-year-old Victoria man by officers on Friday at the 500 block of East Nueces Street on suspicion of aggravated assault causing serious bodily injury. The man allegedly struck a woman in the face with a metal object, causing severe swelling on her brow, between her eyes and a laceration on the bridge of her nose with severe bleeding, police said.

VICTORIA – 38-year-old Scott Holster of Victoria on Saturday by officers on a warrant charging him with burglarizing a habitation on the 2900 block of Houston Highway.
